How can you tell the difference between constipation cramps and premenstrual abdominal pain?

I am experiencing a dull pain in my abdomen and also uterus. Is this just menstrual cramps or constipation?

   premenstrual abdominal pain is more likely to be in the uterus and abdomen. From my experience, it’s usually dull pain while constipation cramps is more sharp pain and only in the abdomen
